Food Meditation: Ice Cream Sundae For Two

February 9, 2014 by Ingrid Beer 1 Comment

Welcome to this peaceful little space at our table that we like to call “Food Meditation”. This is a special, contemplative short-film series that my husband and I wish to share with you in hopes that you will pull up a comfy chair and spend a few moments connecting to that beautiful serenity that can so often be found in the most unexpected places; and perhaps, you'll be moved to reflect and meditate upon it.

Food Meditation: Ice Cream Sundae For Two

From our souls to yours, please enjoy.

    Ingrid & Michael

Though it's a deliciously guilty pleasure to have a cold and decadent ice cream sundae all to one's self, somehow, it never seems to taste quite as sweet and rich as when the pleasure is shared with someone you love.

Scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream hug the sides of a frosty mug, and are generously and playfully decorated with drizzles of glistening chocolate syrup, clouds of fluffy whipped cream, whimsically colored sprinkles, and the bright pop of red from that sweet cherry on top of it all; and yet the best garnish for this already inviting mound of frosty perfection? Two spoons.

    Love is in the air.

Watch and enjoy just how sweet and amazing it can be.

I think your recipe for the chicken and dumpling soup looks delicious. I will be making this, this weekend. Thank you for the recipe.
